从进校园的第一天，老师就教我们一首古诗：“锄和日当午，汗滴和下土，谁只盘中餐，粒粒皆辛苦”的诗句，从此我便知道了粮食的来之不易，我们要节约粮食。因为我们从小就明白了一个道理，农民伯伯一年到头在田里干活，流了许多汗水，才浇灌出我们离不开的粮食。他们多么辛苦，我们怎么能不珍惜粮食呢？
